Upcoming Staged Readings of ‘AFTER MOURNING’

A very successful premiere reading was presented at Glenbow Museum, in November 2019, which was followed by two more staged readings.

January 19th in Red Deer, Alberta, by the Red Deer Players, and then the US premiere reading on February 8th, at The Art Studio in Beaumont, directed by Elayne LeTraunik.

**The Next reading will be presented by the South Simcoe Theatre in Cookstown, Ontario on Thursday September 24 2020.

AFTER MOURNING, a play about Johanna Bonger, the woman who saved vanGogh for the world.

The play continues to gain interest and is currently being hustled aggressively.

“…there is much that we admired in the script…the fluid structure, the heartfelt exploration of the bonds between the characters and, perhaps most importantly, the introduction to a woman who seems to me to have been lost to history” Bob White – Stratford Theatre Festival

“Overall our readers felt that this was a moving and visually evocative script. Each character was authentic and sympathetic” Steven Debose – Austin Film Festival
